About our opportunity:We are looking for a mid-weight UI/UX Designer to join our established design team. You will be responsible for aiding in the design of our industry-leading iHawk platform. You will be a multi-disciplined designer with an interest in both user experience design and user interface design. Your duties will include: participating in product discovery and UX workshops, user and product research, ideation, and testing - collaborating with other designers, developers, testers, and the wider product team.

You will be a key part of Cyberhawk’s design team, allowing it to increase output and quality whilst being involved with the continuous improvement of the product, processes, and culture.

What you will be doing:You will work with a variety of team members with the aim of designing software that reduces pain points, frustrations, and barriers for users, whilst creating a highly polished and intuitive interface.

You will also be responsible for:

• Supporting the Lead UI/UX Designer.
• Participating in stakeholder meetings to understand and define the problem.
• Participating in user research to uncover pain points, barriers, and frustrations.
• Conducting competitor analysis of products / services within similar markets.
• Participating in various UX activities and workshops including (but not limited to) audience engagement and persona mapping, user journey mapping, user story mapping, creation of user flows, and testing.
• Building low fidelity wireframes.
• Developing high fidelity prototypes in Figma.
• Presenting work to the wider team / sparring with peers.
• Contributing towards / maintain the Figma component library.
• Contributing towards / maintain the Confluence design system.
• Handing off to front end development team.
• Supporting both front end and back-end dev teams in building the product from the designs.
• Looking for ways to continuously improve our product.
• Mentoring and working with less experienced team members.

You would be a good fit for our role if:

Ideally you will have 3-6 years demonstrable experience within a similar role.

It would be lovely if you have a degree in a relevant field of study (ie. web design, digital design, UX, UI, User Experience, product design) but this is not a prerequisite.
